To do your best

One thing that we expect from all the children in our school is that they to do their personal best in everything they do. If they do this then we can ask no more and will be immensly proud of them.

Here are some Bible passages that may act as inspiration when doing you best may be hard.

Colossians 3:23-24 - And whatsoever ye do, do [it] heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;

2 Timothy 2:15 - Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Colossians 3:17 - And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, [do] all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

Proverbs 13:4 - The soul of the sluggard desireth, and [hath] nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.

1 Corinthians 10:31 - Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

Titus 2:7 - In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine [shewing] uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,

Ecclesiastes 9:10 - Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do [it] with thy might; for [there is] no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.

Titus 3:1-2 - Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,

Galatians 6:4 - But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.
