Friday 24th February: Lent Experience

This week was a very significant time in the Christian calendar as it saw the start of Lent which marks the run up to Easter. To celebrate this, Reverend Andrew, with the help of his parishioners, organised the Lent Experience in school. It was lovely to see the children learning about the meaning of Lent and how it impacts on our lives. In the afternoon, Y6 took charge and talked Year 1 and our parents and carers through the stations. All the children were excellent.  Thank you to Reverend Andrew, Dorothy, Pam, Joyce and Sue for all their hard work and giving up their time.
