Wider Curriculum
We follow a creative curriculum approach to our wider curriculum and therefore create topics and teach topic lesson in the afternoon. These topics link together the learning across a range of subjects - e.g. objectectives from History, Geography, Music and Art may be present in a single topic. These links are not forced so some standalone lessons or units maybe included to ensure we cover the full curriculum. These topics have been created to engage the children in thier local community and the issues that arise in our area as well as covering key, statutory areas of study.
