Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief
I recommend Percy Jackson by Rick Riordan as it is an incredibly good book. It's about a half-blood boy called Percy who is the son of Poseidon ( God of the Sea ) one of the Twelve Olympians in Ancient Greek myths and legends. After twelve years of not knowing he was the son of a God, Percy gets the shock of his life when his Mum tells him that he is indeed a half-blood! Percy has two friends, Grover ( a Satyr ) and Annabeth ( a daughter of Athena, Goddess of Wisdom and War). When an attack on camp half-blood, where they stay during the summer, arises everyone is worried. Everyone except from Percy. He, Annabeth and Grover go on a quest to save the camp, because Zeus ( God of Lightning and Thunder ) has accused Percy of stealing his Lightning Bolt. I enjoyed the last chapter because it was very gripping and made me want to read the next book in the series ( Percy Jackson and The Sea of Monsters). Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief reminds me of the book Harry Potter, as Harry is also a half-blood ( his dad is a wizard and his mum is a muggle ) and both Harry and Percy go on quests.

Peace at Last by Jill Murphy
This book is about Mr Bear. He tried to get to sleep. Some of the book made me laugh. I didn't like the first bit because it didn't tell much information. I would recommend this book.
