Chielf Constable of Mrseyside Visit

Chief Constable of Merseyside Visit.

Before half term, St Michael’s were very excited to receive a special visit from the Chief Constable of Merseyside, Serena Kennedy. This wasn’t her first visit to the school as she used to be a past pupil and what a remarkable role model she turned out to be! During her time in school, she spoke with all the children to prove that ordinary people can achieve great things and that jobs roles should not be stereotyped to a certain gender. The children got to understand the wide variety of jobs the police force can offer people giving them food for thought for future careers. The children asked lots of questions and we even gave her a drawing of the school, created by Erin, as a memento.
