Autumn Term in Year 1

Class: Year 1 Year: 2023 - 2024

Autumn 2023 has been a very busy time for us in Year 1.  In science we looked at different types of materials and how they are used in everyday life. In our topic on houses and homes we looked at homes around the world and then planned, designed and created our very own house using a varitey of recycled materials. In English we have been learning all about instructions and made gingerbread biscuits.  Our last topic on transportation let us go and visit the British Commerical Vehicle Museum in Leyland.  It was such a fun day!  Have a look at some our pictures to see just how much fun we have been having.
