Baptism

Class: Year 1 Year: 2020 - 2021

In RE lessons this term we have been learning about baptism.  The children were able to learn what it means to be baptized and have a chance to conduct their own baptism ceremony.  We also learned about naming ceremonies, called Naam Karan that take place in the Sikh religion and had a chance to taste Karah Parshad, a sweet dish made from flour, semolina, butter and sugar that is eaten after the ceremony.
