Lesson: Design and technology

Class: Year 1 Year: 2022 - 2023

During our first Autumn term, Year 1 have been exploring hot and cold places around the world.  We have located the 7 continents and the 5 oceans.  We then looked at the differnt types of houses that might be found in those places.  After collecting an enormous amount of recycable material, we designed and then put together different types of houses.  We had so much fun experimenting with the different ways of cutting and joining materials together.
