Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education

A core component of your child's personal development at Aughton St Michael's, is their learning in Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education (PSHE)

We teach PSHE (which incorporates recent statutory requirements surrounding relationships and health education), using the 1 Decision Programme and Resources, equipping our children with the knowledge and skills to stay safe, healthy and prepared for their future adventures.

Finding Out More

Your child’s PSHE curriculum can be found below on the Curriculum Overview and is detailed further on your child’s Class Curriculum Overview.  To support parents and carers further, 1decision have produced a parent/carer zone. Within this area you will be able to review the following:

  • Example video clips
  • Knowledge organisers (Important – these feature the topics and terminology children will learn)
  • Understanding RSHE guide download for parents/carers
  • 1decision overviews
  • Free resources to use with children at home

To visit the parent/carer zone please visit: Parent and Carer Zone.

If you would like to discuss any aspect of this topic or require any further information, please do not hesitate to get in touch with me.
